I wish I could remember why I forced myself to watch this.

It can’t be because I was trying to watch all of the Kirsten Dunst movies. I… don’t like her THAT much. I do like her a lot though. I mean… I love her time she spent as Mary Jane in those lovely Spidey Movies. I really loved the time she danced around in her underwear in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. What else? I didn’t care for her in Meloncholia, though I thought it was a good performance. I liked Marie Antoinette, but only just barely and I’d say its mostly because everyone else hated it. I don’t remember LIKING bring it on, but I’m sure I’ve seen it more times than I should have.

Point is, I’ve seen enough of Dunst. That can’t be why I was here.

Maybe it was Simon Pegg, but I think there has to be better stuff for me to watch of his. For one, I still haven’t seen Paul. I think that would have been a better choice. I’ve only seen MI3 once and I really think thats a travesty, and I don’t use that term lightly. I still haven’t seen MI4.

I mean, for the most part, I hate everything about this movie. It’s cliche and predictable. Was there really any doubt as to what was going to happen in this movie from the moment Dunst came on the screen? You would be sure that this was going to happen.

But also, I hate that this movie even has to exist. I don’t like that this part of society exists. I don’t particularly care for celebrity fetishizing. I thought there was a moment when it looked like Pegg’s character was going to care more about the art of making movies than celebrities, but I was wrong. He didn’t care really.

It could have been that I got excited that Gillian Anderson was in this movie… and DAMN she was looking good too!

WHOA! I’ve been watching a lot of X-Files lately, and I’ll admit that I remember finding her hot back when i was in my blossoming years, but dang. She really kept it all together.

Actually, now that I think about it… this movie wasn’t all that bad. I got to see quite a bit of Anderson. Oh, it also had Megan Fox. I’m not the hugest fan of her, but this was actually a good performance for her.

Well, I regret having rented this movie and I regret having at my house for so long… but its over now and we’re moving on.

  1. I like your review Mark. I didn’t even get around to Bridges in my review. Too uninterested in the rest.
